Balances and entitlements are kept per person, including the ones whose hours change every week, and approved leave blocks them on the rota.
Where it falls short: accrual for irregular hours is not worked out automatically from clock-ins. The free calculator does it for one person at a time.

Approved timesheets export as a payroll ready CSV, so nothing is retyped between the rota, the timesheet and the file.
Where it falls short: there is no direct payroll connection. The export is the route.

Can I plan kitchen and front of house separately?
They sit on one rota with a role on every shift, so you can read each line separately. Separate department rotas are not available.
Does it forecast how busy we will be?
No. The heatmap shows the hours your team has actually worked over the last 12 weeks, which is history rather than a prediction.
Do casual staff pay for the app?
No. The employee app is free on the App Store and Google Play.
