Generation and checking are different jobs.
AI rota generation generally means software proposes a staffing plan from inputs and constraints. Scheduling checks review a plan as a manager builds it. A warning about a clash is useful without being described as AI.
TeamZap’s current customer workflow is the manager built rota with checks. We do not promise that the software will build next month’s rota automatically.

Warnings with context
Check overlaps, short rest, long weeks and relevant skill warnings. They support review rather than replace the employer’s responsibilities.
Changes after publication
Use open shifts and swaps with manager review, then keep the published plan current.
Use attendance history for the question it answers.
The attendance heatmap shows the pattern of recorded work. It shows recorded staffing rather than predicting future sales, customer visits or workload. Combine the records with your own knowledge of the work that needs covering.
What about ranked suggestions?
The customer screen for ranked staff suggestions is not currently available. We will update the feature information when a usable release is available. No release date is promised on this page.
