Working Time Regulations
The Working Time Regulations provide a framework for working hours, rest and related entitlements. The rules applying to an employee depend on their circumstances, including age and work type. A scheduling check can flag a particular issue, but it does not assess every legal requirement or exception.
For planning, review adjacent shifts and the relevant hours period rather than checking only the day being edited. A warning about a long individual week is different from assessing an average over the applicable reference period.
